Product Description

We are offering Allyl, which have hydrolysis of traditional route CH2CHCH2Cl + NaOH → CH2CHCH2OH + NaCl. This can also be made by the rearrangement of propylene oxide, a reaction, which catalyzed by potassium alum at high temperature. The method used does not generate salt. Chloride-containing intermediates "acetoxylation" of propylene to allyl acetate can be removed with CH2=CHCH3 + 1/2 O2 + CH3CO2H → CH2CHCH2O2CCH3 + H2O. Alternatively, propylene can be oxidized to acrolein, which upon hydrogenation gives the.
 
Other Methods:


Allyl can be prepared by dehydrogenation of propanol in principle. It has been prepared by the reaction of glycerol and formic acid in laboratory. Moreover, it can be prepared by allylic oxidation of allyl compounds by selenium dioxide in general.

Applications:

  • Allyl is mainly converted to glycidol, which is a chemical intermediate in the synthesis of glycerol, glycidyl ethers, esters and amines
  • A variety of polymerizable esters are prepared from allyl ,like diallyl phthalate
  • SAA is used as a functional additive in a wide variety of coatings such as urethanes, alkyds and acrylics
  • SAA has been shown to improve adhesion, increase weatherability, and enhance gloss, hardness and water resistance
  • SAA is also used in water-based and radiation-curable coatings

Attention:

  • If inhaled, remove to fresh air
  • If not breathing, give artificial respiration
  • If breathing is difficult, give oxygen
  • Get medical attention
  • In case of contact, immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, while removing contaminated clothing and shoes
  • Cover the irritated skin with an emollient
  • Cold water may be used
  • Wash clothing before reuse
  • Thoroughly clean shoes before reuse
  • Get medical attention immediately
